Planning Commission
Responsibilities
The Planning Commission is comprised of Harington residents recommended by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of City Council. The commission reviews all land use applications for compliance with the zoning and subdivision ordinances. Except for site plan applications, the commission will recommend approval or denial of a Land Use Application to the City Council, who then makes a final decision.
Meetings
- Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of the month, as needed.
- NOTE: If you are interested in attending a meeting, please call City Hall, (302) 398-3530, to verify the meeting is taking place. If there is nothing on the agenda, a meeting will not be held.
