Freedom Park & Norman Barlow Pavilion

Location: 10 Mechanic St, Harrington, DE

Located at the corner of Mechanic St and Fleming St, Freedom Park/Norman Barlow Pavilion are an open air space that is free for all to use.

The facility is not available for rent. It is available on a first come, first serve bases.

NOTE: THER ARE NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS AT THIS LOCATION.

Amenities include:

• Single bench
• Small grass area
• covered pavilion with limited electric
• Limited Parking

• Food and drink are permitted in the park. NO alcohol is permitted unless prior written approval is obtained from the City of Harrington. You cannot charge for any food or drinks provided to your guest. If you wish to have a food truck at the park, prior written approval must be obtained from the City of Harrington. Prior to the event, the food vendor must provide a State of Delaware Food permit and insurance certificate to HPR.
• All liability for the use of the facility, including any illness resulting in food and beverages consumption or injury as a result of any activities are the sole responsibility of the renter.

  • 50 people under the pavilon
  • 150 people in the small grass area

Please keep the area clean. All trash is carry in/carry out. There are no receptacles located at the park.
